Camera and it's settings

Being a child I always wondered, how do all these people appear on T.V . As a child I would think that the people appearing on T.V actually stay there inside the T.V. But with the time I realized that whatever I am seeing on T.V is actually captured and recorded on a thing called Camera and then displayed on T.V.

Anyways , first we should know that what's a camera ?
Curious? I know , Let's get the crux of this thing called Camera . So ,Camera is a machine or gadget which is used to capture an Image or record a video . But camera can't function these two things without Light. So, Light plays an important role in the image formation.
Camera has been compared with human eye , as both share the same functions .

In modern world , DSLR Cameras are widely used , where DSLR stands for Digital Single Lense Reflex , these are digital cameras , with digital functions.

A camera consists a mode dial , where we get different settings , some of the basic one's are Automatic and Manual . Automatic setting is the default setting of a Camera , where the settings of camera are adjusted automatically by camera. However, the Manual setting can be adjusted by the User according to his /her preferences.

To get a perfect picture , the settings you'll need to adjust will be Aperture,  ISO and Shutter speed. These settings actually complement each other. Let's breakdown these settings below :
I don't want to provide you with complex definitions here , I'll just try to keep it very simple and easy to understand.

Aperture
Take it as a pupil or Iris of our eyes , have you ever noticed the pupil contracting and expanding , ever wondered why does it happen?
Let me tell you , so when there's a lot of light our pupil contracts and when there's is less light it expands . Same thing is with the Aperture , if you want your image bright , then your aperture needs to be wide , and if you want your image dark or with less light , then your aperture should be contracted . But to do that you'll have to adjust the focal length. If you want wider aperture,  you'll need to set the lower f number , for example f8. And if you want smaller or contracted aperture then set the higher f number , for example f 21.

ISO
ISO stands for International Standardized Organization. ISO has to do with the brightness of image , it's a setting you can adjust for adding brightness to an image,  but it has a limitation,  the higher the ISO the grainy the image is going to look.

Shutter speed
First , we will see what's a shutter?
Think of it as the eyelid of your eye , it's basically a shutter which opens when clicking the shutter button,  and the speed , is the duration of time that shutter remains open, exposed to Light, if the shutter speed is slow It'll create motion blur and if the shutter speed is fast it'll freeze the motion. But , the problem is if the shutter speed is fast , the image we get will be dark , so to overcomes that we'll adjust the ISO or the Aperture .
These three settings actually work together and these settings complement reach other , to get a perfect image , all you have to do is play with these three settings.
